Summary

I specialize in backend development, but am open to full-stack and DevOps/Platform roles. I have experience designing and building features from conception to deployment with an emphasis on writing code that is not only performant, but is also easy to read and follow. I believe that the best engineers understand the balance between writing strong code and delivering business value.

Most recently, I lead a small team (project manager, QA tester, front-end engineer) to build out a chat feature on our platform. Since deployment, it has been unanimously heralded as the 'Most Liked Feature'.

Expectations

A great fit for me is one where I can continue to grow both deeper in my expertise, but also wider as a T-shaped contributor. It also understands that we all work together as a single collaborative unit, as opposed to teams or individuals competing against each other.
