Senior Software Engineer
Summary
I am a scrum-trained developer who has most recently been working on a small, self-organizing agile team within a medium-sized software company. My role was mainly building Front-end applications using React and Redux; but I spent much of my time collaborating with the other members of our team: working with the Product Owner to identify and refine stories for our backlog; coordinating with Middleware and Back-end developers to ensure smooth API integrations; assisting QA Engineers to ensure they had the knowledge and resources to test and pass tickets; and following up with the Release Manager to ensure successful deployment. My company was forced to restructure due to the economic effects of Coronavirus, which resulted in my position being eliminated. But I am very eager to bring my flexible and diverse skills to a new team.
Expectations
Ideally, I hope to find a position on a scrum team in which each member makes unique, collaborative contributions in "Just in Time" software development. I find the ebb and flow and iterative nature of working as part of a well-trained team of agile professionals to be exciting, rewarding, and never boring.
