Simplified the Logstash configuration file and parallelized the code in Java using Blocking Queue API that increased the performance 5 times (From 82 to 10 hours) for ingesting the data (>2.5 Terabytes) (880,000,000 records) in Elasticsearch.
Stack : Java, Elastic-Search, Kibana, Apache Solr, Junit, TestNg, Gradle, Git, Machine Learning Libraries (NumPy, Pandas), Spark, Cassandra, Jenkins, Linux Refactored code base of internal data sources to prevent critical security issues like Log forging, path manipulation and JSON Injection
wrote curl scripts from kibana to add Data Shippers to Elastic Search Cluster
Developed script in Java that consumed swagger API End-Point for the internal Data source that was later used as a baseline for creation of Test Cases. Solved critical security issue related to in-house data-source and pushed the changes to production which involved changing one of the Dal Modules Libraries Http Version.
