Summary

I have over 20 years of experience in software development and applications design.

My career began as a Unix sysadm and developer primarily in communications and later
transitioned to web applications development. Consistently within Unix/Linux environments.

For the past decade Ive worked in full stack development and delivery, in Python - Django /
Flask / FastAPI - and Javascript - Node, React, Vue - SQL and NoSqlDB design, among
other technologies.

I'm well versed in the full-stack develop life cycle from back-end development to front-end
dev, leveraging TDD and UI/UeX with Javascript/CSS and its libraries.

Also in DevOps with virtualisation Docker and Podman, Kubernetes cloud deployment,
CI/CD, IaC - Terraform and Ansible - within GCP and AWS ecosystems.
My background includes working on complex projects, with significant data volumes in
industries such as airlines, large retail, e-commerce, registration systems, genomic analysis
and distributed energy interfacing with heterogeneous engineering teams.

I have experience mentoring and training development teams, onboarding junior developers
and supporting their growth.
Additionally I am trained in soft skills and have served as Project Manager and Team Leader.

I work comfortably within RAD, TDD, AGILE and continuous delivery methodologies.
As a certified professional trainer, I had teach IT and soft skills to diverse ages groups.

I regularly participate in community activities such as speaking at tech MeetUps and
mentoring at DjangoGirls mentorship programs.

To stay aligned with industry advancements, and for personal growth, I am currently
exploring Machine Learning and Blockchain. Computer vision and OpenCV is also a field of
interest to me.

I am accustomed to working in diverse environments with varied
cultures.

I'm at my best in mid size companies and working in projects that deliver a real impact.

I'm keen of the ethics of my company and my work.

Once I'm vegan, I wouldn't work on a project or company that deals with animal cruelty in any form.

Also because that, I wouldn't be a good fit for a digital agency.
