Summary

I've been programming since 2008, beginning with low level and systems programming on Unix (FreeBSD first, then various linux distributions) and continuing with network applications like FTPd, IRCd or HTTPd servers.

After ending my masters in 2013 I started working as CTO at tactill for 2 years, pushing the backend for a prototype to a fully fledge service oriented platform, written in node.js and using a score of tools and third parties to support and monitor it.

Moving to Montreal I then worked for mims.ai, a bio computing company, where I wrote a workflow execution engine on top of Kubernetes and participated in the writing of the symbolic AI system using golang.
After noticing an actor system pattern in it I did a complete rewrite that allowed us to push the performance and reduce the code size significantly, making it easier to understand, maintain and extend.
