Summary

Senior Moodle developer with 12 years of experience in developing plugins of various types for Moodle and integrating it with third-parties. Have been working with Moodle since version 1.9!

As a web developer I started my career at the university I graduated from and this made an impact on my development focus - I was spending much time working with Moodle LMS. At that time the university just started to apply it to its educational process and had a challenging task to integrate it into the existing university's information ecosystem as much as possible and ensure maximum engagement of students, teachers and university's management. It was a good chance for me to investigate how Moodle works and how it can be customized to match the university's requirements. Later on I started providing my Moodle development services worldwide.

I recently started to make contributions to Moodle's open-source core which makes great additions to general knowledge of how Moodle core works.

Adopted official maintenance of a third-party plugin for Moodle - Adaptive quiz. The plugin can be found in the official plugins repository for Moodle.

I'm eager to write clean PHP code in plugins for Moodle which follows the official Moodle development guidelines. I'm also proficient in implementing unit testing and functional testing using Behat.

I have much experience in integrating Moodle with third-party systems of various types like CRMs, E-commerce platforms, student and employees management systems, online offices, medical simulation software and more. Proficient in development of custom web services for Moodle.

Have much experience in updating legacy and unsupported Moodle plugins for the newer Moodle versions.

Performed a great number of updates of Moodle core of different versions, so I'm well familiar with the process of updating Moodle to the newer versions for your LMS platform and what issues could arise.
