Summary

I have 6+ years of work experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, leading ML-driven projects and building end-to-end Machine Learning pipelines for models impacting millions of customers.

For the past 3.5 years, I have been working as a Machine Learning Engineer in the Search Algorithm team at Shopee, across multiple sub-teams such as Search Relevance, Search Personalisation and Query Understanding. I am involved with conceptualising and spearheading projects from scratch, entire data and model lifecycle, A/B testing and productionalizing models for 7+ countries.

Before that, I have worked for 2.5 years at Works Applications, where I was working on time series forecasting for dynamic demand prediction and anomaly detection.

I am proficient in Python, Go, Spark (Scala and SQL) and Hadoop MapReduce. My areas of interest are NLP, Big data mining, feature engineering, statistical modelling, and deep learning.

Expectations

I am looking for MLE/Data Scientist roles where I get to work on various stages of the Machine Learning lifecycle for products which impact millions of users. My daily work can range from doing statistics for ML models, to deploying ML models on the cloud. Drawing impactful inferences from complex data interests me. I would like to work in a diverse team where collaboration and questioning is encouraged, and there is sharing of knowledge among members!
