Summary

I have 15 years of industry experience to include 6 years of corporate consulting experience and 9 years of self-employed freelance experience. Over the last 6 years I have worked multiple contracts with fortune-500 companies, specializing in cloud modernization and rewrite of legacy code. On the side I study and test out trading strategies; I built and maintain a crypto trading platform with a modest amount of paid customers. Over the last 6 years I have excelled in my field; both pay and title promotions along with client and company-wide awards and accolades. I worked my way from an Associate Engineer to a Tech Lead, and have been managing a 8 member team for over 3 years. Clients and coworkers alike feel that they can come to me for guidance, clarity and mentorship within their own careers. I would like to get out of consulting and work for a company that builds their own products; where there is room to grow within the company and where I will feel a sense of ownership and appreciation for my work.

Expectations

My biggest expectations are good work-life balance and the ability to work remote. I would like to work for a company that rewards their employees when deserved and promotes from within. I would look to see that the majority of current employees are happy where they work.
