Summary

I took my first computer science course in 9th grade and I immediately that it was the what I wanted to do with my career. From there I took all the other computer science courses in highschool, got into University of Toronto for computer science, where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in computer science. After that I worked in three b2b saas companies for around 2-3 years each where I honed my skills all across the tech stack.

I believe software development is first and foremost a conversation. Code doesn't exist in isolation and it only has meaning when there is a person using it. That's why I think the communication between development, product, and design is crucial in making a great product that people love to use, and love to work on. I believe a team with strong user empathy and strong communication will always build a better product.

Whether in a leadership roles or as an individual contributor, my greatest asset is my ability to adapt, and my ability to communicate and work with others. I truly believe that the thing I'm best at is whatever I am currently working on.

Expectations

I'm looking ideally for a Senior Fullstack Software Developer position at a early to mid sized company with around 75-600 employees. Preference of React on the front end, but open to work on any language for the backend. I'm also open to full back-end or full front-end positions for the right company.
