About

As an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer, I have extensive experience in provisioning, managing and migrating infrastructure on AWS using CloudFormation, EC2, ELB, EBS, S3, and Route 53. My skills also include migrating existing infrastructures from CloudFormation to Terraform and resolving pipeline and Ansible issues for various applications.

In my previous roles, I have played a critical role in migrating existing applications from on-premises data centers to the Cloud, developing Docker files, and Helm charts to deploy application code on Kubernetes clusters. I also have experience creating Jenkins files for various services, building pipelines, and deploying them on the Rancher multi-cluster management platform. Additionally, I have managed Rancher Kubernetes clusters via the Rancher UI dashboard.

I have also been involved in migrating existing servers from on-premises data centers to AWS and creating Jenkins files for EC2 instance creation and package installation. My experience also extends to working on ELB creation, DNS changes, and enabling live traffic, as well as decommissioning old servers and performing cleanup.

Overall, my expertise and experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer make me well-suited to manage and migrate infrastructure, write Jenkins files, and develop Docker files and Helm charts to deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters. Expectations

As a DevOps engineer starting a new job, my primary focus would be on fostering collaboration and effective communication with cross-functional teams. I would drive automation and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure frequent and reliable software releases. Emphasizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation would enable consistent and version-controlled infrastructure changes. Additionally, I would prioritize setting up robust monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection, while working closely with security teams to implement best practices for secure deployments and compliance. Continuous learning and problem-solving skills would help in incident response and maintaining system reliability. Managing cloud services efficiently and optimizing costs would be crucial, along with maintaining up-to-date documentation and promoting knowledge sharing. Process optimization and adaptability to change are essential to increase team efficiency and embrace new challenges. Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and retrospectives would further contribute to a collaborative and empowered team.
