Summary

I am an accomplished professional with extensive experience in category management and inventory management, as well as a Masters degree in business and marketing. Throughout my career, I excelled in both top line sales and gross margin, vendor relations and negotiations.

My career has spanned several positions across strategic sourcing, inventory, and stock management, planning & purchasing, quality control and the product development lifecycle for both universal and application specific products. Ive consistently used my in-depth skillset and expertise to drive improvements in productivity, profitability, and overall business revenue and growth.

I have developed programs for national retailers which have both aided the field and improved the business performance for the company. Aside from the in-store focus, bridging both retail and commercial, I have also developed programs, promotions, and assortments for e-commerce.

As part of my roles, I have worked with cross-functional teams to ensure proper strategy and execution of programs, both on the initial structure and on a planned-out strategy for future growth. This is part of product management and a go to market process.

In my positions of increased responsibility, I have developed a strong background in contracts and in purchasing, both with developed sources and in new sourcing strategies, successfully defining both private label brands and national brands for store and online assortments. I have actively worked with assortments and planogramming in stores under different assortment levels.

Being a part of all aspects of the business -- store, store management, sourcing, logistics, replenishment, marketing and buying -- gives me a unique perspective of putting all those parts together for the good of the end user and the organization. It creates the optimum customer experience. As such, I have successfully grown the business in each position, with both top line growth and cost savings strategies.

Expectations

My expectations of the job would be where I can individually contribute to the growth of the business and have input into the direction of the product lines and categories. I would also look for that team spirit of support so people are open to bounce ideas off each other.
