Senior Accommodations Consultant

Summary

I have 10 years of HR and management experience driving process and service improvements through collaborating very closely with internal and external stakeholders. I received two bachelor of science degrees in psychology and business management because my focus has always been helping others with my passion being the disability field. I have managed directly and have worked very closely with vocational rehabilitation teams for over 7 years and have specialized in disability and leave for over 6 years. I have been in my current role of Senior Accommodation Consultant with Amazon for the past four years and have educated and mentored senior leaders across U.S. on obligations under ADA, promoting disability inclusion, and how to implement highly complex accommodations. I created the first ever pathway to accommodate associates who are blind at Amazon, developed standard operating procedures on how to accommodate associates who are blind/low vision (BLV), built and trained a team of 11 Sr. Accommodation Consultants for the BLV center of excellence, and continued to develop and improve these processes.
