Summary

Software Development Engineer - SDE-1 @ AMAZON
Implemented the frontend and backend of Stow Planner that provides the
warehouse managers with a heat map visualisation ofthe warehouse space
consumption and get detailed data of available and occupied space in real
time for different storage containers.
Identified possible root causes of increasing memory utilization for
Fargate-based backend ECS services and optimized the memory utilization
from 75% to 30%.
Built the design and tech strategy for Feature Gating and
Experimentation(A/B Testing), that allows teams to independently develop,
experiment on a set of defined metrics and release new features to
customers.
Created a package holding configurations for AWS accounts, micro-frontend
registrations, layouts and production readiness mappings eliminating code
redundancy across different packages and efforts on multiple code reviews
across differentteams.
Identified and contributed to Amazons internal frontend(2 potential bugs)
and monitoring libraries(1 potential bug)

SDE Intern @ AMAZON
Collaborated with US team of 15 folks to build and deliver the frontend of
the product, based on a micro-frontend architecture and perform API
integrations that helps associates at distribution centers to easily research,
update and delete the items from inventories.
Worked on different AWS services like CloudWatch, CloudFormation,
Cloud9 to build monitoring dashboard for backend services through AWS
CDKs.
Worked on production readiness tasks i.e identifying and fixing frontend
bugs, issues related to mappings with API Gateway and Cloudfront which
helped in successful launch of product in Distribution Centers.

SDE Intern @ MATHWORKS
Worked upon creating a Platform Testing App for Windows OS responsible
for running tests of all the MathWorks products(used by 5,000,000+ users)
and generating reports of crash logs.
Redesigned the app architecture and provided automation for running tests
through batch scripting and shell scripting in Linux environment.
Improved the overall performance of the app by approximately 3 times by
eliminating unnecessary network calls.

Being challenged and having opportunities for advancement in terms of the technical skills and knowledge in building scalable services and making a meaningful contribution to the company as well as being compensated fairly for my work.
