Summary

Ive graduated from IIT Kanpur in 2021 with B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering, and have been involved in multiple python and ML projects since 2nd year itself. During my current role as SDE at Mason, Ive been developing robust RESTful APIs and micro-services across a variety of backend projects.
I have a total of 2 years of experience in software development, across two companies.
At my current company, I owned and developed automation-engine, the backbone of our flagship app listed on Shopify app store, serving 10K+ e-commerce businesses (MAE) in organic growth and conversions. At my previous company (Legato Health Tech., Anthem), I was involved in development of a web-phone that reduced overhead cost for 14K+ company agents by more than 20%. I was also responsible for ideation and implementation of RASA chatbot to resolve FAQ for on-duty agents and automation of the ticket generation for unresolved issues that reduced tickets traffic and ticket processing time significantly.
During my internship at Optym as Data Scientist, I consulted with LTL trucking client (Holland Trucks America) regarding the challenge of optimised scheduling, where I proposed and developed a scalable forecasting algorithm, that could save them more than 15% in running costs and could save up to 30 man-hours per quarter. The algorithm was later integrated with their Supply Chain optimisation product and resulted in a 5-year contract with the said client.
I am also attentive to the need for continued process improvements. When we faced repeated processing delays due to un-optimised APIs, I proposed and carried out the implementation of batches and bulk calls to external APIs in multiple modules, improving overall speed and reducing daily error counts drastically.

My goals for the company and job are that it have a work atmosphere in which I will contribute to the team, be recognised for my efforts, provide career security, and have the opportunity to advance within the company.
