Sales Manager

Summary

An experienced hands on sales manager with several years of over performance and man management/team leadership experience used to managing closing sales teams in Public Sector and Enterprise space, who focus on major accounts and delivering big ticket deals.
Previously engaged as the Public Sector Sales Manager at EE for the 100 Key PS accounts (£24M ARR) and prior to that was the Account Director who managed EEs single largest Lighthouse account of Sky PLC (16,000+ connections).
Used to coaching teams to use consultative, value-based sales methodologies rather than a transactional sell. Culturally, dynamic with high levels of EQ used who has worked for some of the UKs leading tier 1 Telecoms and service providers such as Verizon, Cable and Wireless, BT etc.
Consistently driving sales growth with a proven track record of executing complex sales pursuits as well as client based executive level engagement/consulting. Able to demonstrate;
20+ years of B2B sales management experience
B2B and Channel expertise
Extensive sales training and development using TAS/SPIN and internal/external training academys.
Track record of strong performance, growing sales teams, and increasing profitability
Evidence of successfully leading others to meet and exceed measurable sales and revenue targets
Confortable in ambiguous, dynamic environments
A fearless enthusiasm for sales and ability to make things happen
Analytical and able to make decisions based on hard data
Adaptable and can think on my feet;
Proven levels of dedication and ownership required to succeed at start-up speed
