Ruby on Rails developer

Summary

Since 2024, I've been building production systems with Ruby on Rails, React, Node.js, and Elasticsearch. I design and develop APIs, integrate external services, manage data architecture, implement tests, and own features from conception through deployment.
Before that, I managed POS application projects and led Technical Account Management teams, debugging SDKs, troubleshooting APIs, and collaborating with Engineering and Product teams.

Expectations

I'm looking for a mid-level Ruby on Rails role at a scale-up or large tech company, fully remote. I'm a Rails developer with a background that also includes 9 years in big tech in a dev-adjacent capacity, which gives me a solid understanding of how product and engineering teams work together, and where friction tends to creep in.
What matters most to me in my next role is a healthy product-dev relationship: clear goals, well-defined priorities, and a team where engineers are genuine partners in shaping what gets built. I'm also looking to work on a modern, well-maintained codebase where good engineering practices are the norm, not the exception.
I'm open to any industry. What draws me is the team culture and the quality of the work, not the domain.
