Summary

As a graduate research assistant, I am passionate about developing advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous cars. I have expertise in robotics, ROS, machine learning, computer vision, C++, and Python programming. I have worked with real and simulated robots, including self-driving cars and other small-wheeled robots.

I had the privilege of leading a number of highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students in deploying self-driving cars on the university Campus. Our vehicle can navigate through the university campus in full autonomous mode following all traffic rules and regulations. For now, we used the Autoware Universe software stack with necessary modifications for our sensor suite and interface.

Besides, I have completed multiple projects in these domains, such as HD mapping, sensor calibration, lane detection in challenging scenarios, ADAS emergency braking, pedestrian detection in autonomous vehicle blind spots, and implementing the Autoware Universe in our autonomous vehicle platform. I have also published a number of IEEE conference papers on these areas in the last few years. I am seeking a full-time position starting in Jan 2024, where I can apply my skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems and contribute to the advancement of autonomous systems technology.
