I am a passionate and accomplished microbiologist with more than seven years of postdoctoral experience and a track record of developing and maintaining a well-funded research program.
I have experience in teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate level. In the lab, I use bacterial genetics to study: molecular mechanisms of microbial pathogenesis, host-pathogen interactions and bacteria-phage ecology.
I have executed high-quality projects from conception to completion through the resolution of methodological problems and adjustments of experimental protocols. In addition, I have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with multidisciplinary colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
