Summary

PhD in physics specializing in atmospheric and space physics with extensive experience in astrophysics. Seeking to transition from academia to data science/analytics roles in the private sector.

I have significant expertise in data analysis and statistics, big data management, and modeling (numerical, empirical, and machine learning-based), as well as time series forecasting. My computational experience includes work in high-performance computing (HPC) environments and proficiency in programming languages such as Python (including Pandas, Xarray, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow), Fortran, Matlab, and others.

Beyond my PhD research, I have applied my computational skills to develop signal and execution models for algorithmic trading and analyzed diverse datasets related to professional sports, weather, and U.S. elections.

I have published four papers in highly-referenced, peer-reviewed journals, including two as the first author, one as the second author, and one as the fourth author. I am also the recipient of a prestigious fellowship from the leading organization in my subfield and have won multiple awards for both teaching and research.
