Research Scientist

Summary

Research background in analysis of hyper-spectral image/signal data acquired via sensors, microscopy, spectroscopy and 3D modeling. Experience in applying and adapting concepts from computational geometry, computer vision, graph theory, Fourier analysis, convolutional filters and neural nets, high performance computing, and statistics in solutions of complex image/visual problems.

History writing scripts and applications in MATLAB, Python, R, Lua, Javascript.
Working experience with cloud infrastructure to stand up and serve enterprise grade databases and applications.

Expectations

In order of importance:
1) Interesting problems that can benefit from my unique background and perspective.
2) Freedom/ownership to pursue solutions to those problems within my own creative boundaries as long as satisfactory outcomes are maintained. Most importantly in this regard: no mandatory office presence or "online hours" purely for show. Physical events/meetings with actual purpose are more than welcome.
