Summary

My current role has been two years of work as an open source release manager at an A16z-backed startup. This involves reviewing all code being merged into the project, writing release notes, tracking breaking changes, assigning tasks and working with the technical writing team on documentation, communicating with all necessary stakeholders, and then working directly with the company's CTO to run the release process.

Prior to that, I have two years of fullstack software engineering experience at a FAANG company. While there, I grew from the most junior engineer on my team to the most senior, mentored new engineers, drafted engineering plans, and particularly excelled in working cross-fuctionally.

I have a Bachelors degree in English, along with a nearly-complete second major in Computer Science.

Expectations

I'm looking for a role that allows me to leverage my technical and non-technical skills to make life easier for an engineering team and for their stakeholders. I value a hybrid/in-office presence, as I believe being physically present makes work and meetings easier for everyone, and while I'm not afraid of working hard when needed, a culture that also values work-life balance to some extent is important to me.
