Release Engineer
Summary
Strong background in project development cycle with nearly 30 years in data processing (custom pieces to full product design) including: programming, testing, troubleshooting, specifications, analysis, design, documentation and installations.
Proficient with PowerShell, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy and Artifactory. Also worked within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud PowerShell scripting. Have previous knowledge with InstallShield, C, some C# and Windows Installer.
Extensive experience with Team Foundation Server (later renamed to Azure DevOps) source control package.
Experienced with smoke testing and automating build processes and deployments.
Very experienced in working effectively with others including upper management, salespeople, client users and company installers (testers) to obtain the best solution for the customers desires.
An outstanding record of customer satisfaction with the ability to bring projects in on schedule and within budget.
A good track record of writing detailed specifications for custom applications.
A strong individual contributor and a proactive team player.
Expectations
Something that I will be able to continue with my Release Engineering background and develop more with Powershell. I am interested in learning new things and would love to get into C#, Python and Java more than just taking online classes.
