Summary

Completed 420 hours of education in software development from General Assembly, a licensed school in Washington D.C., as well as achieved an Associate's degree in Biology from Northern Virginia Community College.

Developed full-stack MERN applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts. Apps used bcrypt and OAuth for authentication. Also worked with a team of developers using Python/Django to create a web app that helps volunteers get groceries for those at higher risk from COVID-19.

6+ months of Agile Development. Familiar with tools such as Jira and Confluence. Used Lucid charts to develop wire frames and Figma for ERDs.

Expectations

Looking for front-end or full-stack software development jobs. Most preferred language is React. Willing to learn similar languages, such as, Angular and Vue.js.

Ideal job would help provide resources to assist in my growth as a software engineer. Would prefer to build a career at one company that provides a career path to advance over time, but would be okay with a temporary job as long as I'm more marketable by the end of the contract.
