Quantitative analyst
Summary
Data-driven research analyst experienced in investment research and policy consulting, passionate about quantitative analysis and portfolio management, evaluating investment opportunities, and investigating and identifying aberrant patterns from data.
I currently work as Senior Statistical Programmer at a healthcare consulting firm. In prior to current employment, I worked as research associate in Corporate Governance team of Glass Lewis, a proxy advisory firm, and equity research summer analyst at Petra Capital Management, a long-short hedge fund.
I graduated as Cum Laude from UC Berkeley with simultaneous degree in Economics and Environmental Policy. I have passed CFA level II and FRM Part I, and I plan to take CFA level 3 in December 2020 and FRM Part II in May 2021.
Expectations
I expect the new job to have a fostering yet competitive environment where an opinion is respected and growth is endorsed. I also expect the tasks to involve critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and adaptability, constantly challenging me to advance my skills and knowledge. Lastly, I would appreciate opportunities to rightfully juxtapose my background in economics, data/statistical analysis and investment research in learning significant patterns and practices that will advance the goal of delivering highest risk-adjusted return to trusted investors.
