Summary

1) I have a PhD in mathematics and strong experience in the field of scientific research. I have carried out numerous research activities in several institutions (such as the Institut des hautes études scientifiques (IHES) and the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics).
2) I am a passionate problem-solving person. I participated in two world finals of the ACM-ICPC programming competition, in the United States and Canada (with my two teammates, we had to design and implement algorithms in C++ to solve problems). I also participated in other competitions, as for example Topcoder and Mathematical Olympiads.
3) In addition to my main specialization, I have taken many courses in financial mathematics (particularly the pricing of vanilla and exotic options), programming (object-oriented programming, algorithms, C++, Python) and machine learning (Supervised and unsupervised algorithms, parameter tuning, learning curves, SQL, the Scikit-learn library).
4) I have experience in C++. I have used C++ in many algorithmic competitions. Among my projects, I can mention a program that evaluates vanilla and exotic options, using C++ and the object-oriented programming paradigm, and a small 2D video game that I have programmed using the SFML library. I have also implemented many Machine Learning algorithms in Octave and on Kaggle's platform (in Python with the Scikit-learn library).
