Quality Engineer

Summary

Extensive knowledge on AIAG core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA & Control Plan.
Proficient in problem solving skills such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5 Why, etc.
Experience with ISO 9001:2015/TS 16949 & CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) standards.
Expertise in Quality Management Systems & Six Sigma methodologies like DMAIC (Design, Measure, Analyze, Improve & Control) and DFSS (Design for Six Sigma).
Possess strong knowledge in designing and developing new Tooling/Products by analyzing reliability and maintainability data.
Adept in identifying manufacturing issues & implementing & validating preventive actions
Well versed with design features like Blueprint Reading, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T), Design for Manufacturability/Assembly, Bill of Materials, etc.
Good Exposure to MRP / ERP systems & Lean Manufacturing & Operations.
Profound understanding of engineering design activities such as Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Axiomatic Design, Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ), Robust Design and Tolerance Design.
A self-starter with a positive attitude, willingness to learn new concepts and accept challenges.
Strong interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
