QA engineer
Summary
As a QA engineer at web application for doctors from October 2022 to the present, I particioated in the successful launch of a project. My responsibilities included testing the social network for doctors, covering both web and mobile applications. I developed a comprehensive testing plan, created test documentation using TestRail, and performed various types of testing such as smoke testing, functional/non-functional testing, integration testing, cross-browser testing (Chrome, Yandex Browser, Safari), cross-platform testing, regression testing, UI/UX testing (Figma), API testing (Postman), and SQL injection testing (using sqlmap and manual techniques). Throughout the testing process, I actively collaborated with the client, developers, and designers.
I have over 10 years of experience in the field of medicine and the top 10 pharmaceutical companies (international outsourcing - GSK, Novatis, Astra Zeneca, Teva). I have PhD in biological sciences from Moscow State University (MGU). I was writing research protocols, overseeing their implementation, ensuring quality control, and handling data processing. I am knowledgeable about Russian, EAEU, and international standards (including GCP) for obtaining, processing, storing, and disposing of personal and medical data.
Since 2019, I have been transitioning into data science and have completed advanced training courses at Tomsk State University in the field of Software Testing. I have a good understanding of the theory and different types of testing, including functional, non-functional, smoke, regression, UI, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing. I can work with databases (SQL) and in the console.
During my time as a QA engineer assessor at Yandex Praktikum from October 2022 to April 2023, I gained valuable skills and experience in testing web services. I focused on areas such as requirements analysis and visualization using mind maps and Figma for blockchain projects, test design techniques, test documentation preparation (checklists, test cases, bug reports using YouTrack), UI/UX and functionality testing (including cross-browser testing and pairwise testing), Charles Proxy for intercepting and modifying responses, API testing with Apidoc documentation and JSON/XML, frontend functionality testing and debugging with Charles Proxy and DevTools, working with SQL queries in Cygwin and testing database interactions (PostgreSQL) for Yandex.Taxi application, analyzing requirements and reporting bugs for the new version of the mobile application in the Android Studio emulator, and working with Yandex.Taxi's database, composing SQL queries in Cygwin, and analyzing log files.
I am currently continuing my education to acquire additional QA skills (automatization testing, EPAM). I am actively committed to professional development and open to learning new technologies and working methods. I possess good communication skills, I am organized, responsible, and a cooperative team member.
