QA Engineer

Summary

Was in charge of the quality assurance process for an AWS-based, backend API that supported the customer interface. Wrote an end-to-end automation test suite in Mocha and Chai, performed load/performance tests with Artillery (Serverless-artillery for AWS specifically), wrote a comprehensive test plan for the project with detailed test cases and disaster recovery documentation, managed and improved the CI/CD pipeline (we used CircleCI), and conducted manual testing as needed. Also have lots of experience conducting accessibility audits.
In addition, I worked on a variety of other projects that had me working hands-on with a variety of software, and exposure to much more. I worked extensively with deployments in Jenkins, modified Docker Compose files to configure test environment, fixed permissions in Identity Access Management in AWS, configured tables in DynamoDB, monitored and analyzed logs with CloudWatch, DataDog, and X-Ray, and had exposure to a variety of automation test software, including PyTest, Selenium Webdriver, JMeter and Gatling.

Expectations

Looking for an environment that promotes active collaboration, taking on new challenges, and encouraging innovation, and that is looking for someone to create, manage and maintain automated tests, manage CI/CD pipelines, and help mentor and learn from others. Bonus points for an organization with a strong emphasis on accessibility!
