Summary

The Smart Detect project involved extracting data from bank statement PDFs and storing it as a complete dataframe in a PostgreSQL database. The libraries used for this purpose included pdfplumber, pdfreader, camelot, pandas, numpy. Inspired by Perfios, the project aimed to create an affordable solution for small markets, with the client based in Dubai.

Expectations

For my next role, I am keen on leveraging my Python skills in the field of data science. Additionally, I have a strong interest in implementing data structures using Python. In essence, I aspire to collaborate with highly skilled developers who can help me enhance and refine my skill set.
