Project Manager
Summary
I am a public policy professional and MPA candidate at NYU Wagner with experience spanning environmental policy, city government, legislative affairs, and political strategy. My work has focused on turning complex policy issues into clear, actionable analysis for public agencies and stakeholders. As Research & Analysis Lead for NYU Wagners Town+Gown capstone in partnership with NYC agencies, I help develop a long-term roadmap for integrating post-consumer plastics into New York City roadways. I have also supported policymaking and constituent services in the Office of Council Member Carlina Rivera, contributed to statewide environmental advocacy at the New York League of Conservation Voters, and previously helped lead campaign strategy and outreach in a competitive California State Assembly race. Across these roles, I have built a strong record in research, policy writing, stakeholder coordination, and public-facing communication, with achievements that include supporting major environmental priorities and contributing to electoral efforts in which 123 of 147 endorsed candidates won office.
Expectations
What I am looking for in a new role is not just a change of scenery, but a position where I can do substantive work that draws on my strengths in policy analysis, research, writing, and coordination. My background has consistently centered on work that connects ideas to implementation, whether through producing structured policy reports, synthesizing technical material into usable briefs, preparing meeting agendas and briefing materials, or supporting public-facing policy efforts.
Across my experience, the clearest pattern is that I am most effective in roles that combine analytical rigor with real institutional relevance. As Research & Analysis Lead for NYU Wagners capstone in partnership with NYC agencies, I help develop a long-term roadmap for integrating post-consumer plastics into New York City roadways. In the Office of Council Member Carlina Rivera, I supported policy and constituent affairs through formal correspondence, interagency coordination, case tracking, and meeting preparation. I have also worked in statewide environmental advocacy and campaign strategy, which strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, manage stakeholders, and contribute to high-stakes public work.
Because of that, I am looking for a role with real policy substance and room to grow, ideally in government, public affairs, infrastructure, environmental policy, or a mission-driven civic institution. I am not looking for a position where I am only handling administrative tasks without analytical responsibility. I want a role where I can think critically, write well, support decision-making, and contribute to work that has visible public value. At this stage of my career, the best fit is a role that allows me to deepen my experience while building toward long-term leadership in public policy and public sector strategy.
