I am an experienced project manager and international development practitioner with university background in Education and 14 years of experience in international development, SRHR, Cultural Relations, Research, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Events management and International Conference Moderation and consultancy. With a robust multi-country background, I am confident that my skills and expertise align perfectly with the requirements of the role.
Currently, I serve as an Arts Manager at the British Council, successfully overseeing the implementation of a 7-million grant across 14 Eastern African countries. My responsibilities include project planning, risk management, and ensuring the effective execution of grant-funded initiatives. This role has refined my project management and leadership skills while allowing me to navigate diverse cultural contexts.
Previously, as a Project Officer at the International Planned Parenthood Federations Africa region, I provided essential support to sexual and reproductive health projects across 36 member associations. My work involved project design, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, significantly enhancing the quality of sexual and reproductive health services in the region.
In my role as Program Officer, Service Delivery, Francophone at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, I successfully managed complex service delivery projects in Burkina Faso and Dakar, Senegal. These initiatives aimed to increase youth access to contraception through innovative approaches, including youth peer engagement. I have a proven track record of facilitating knowledge sharing, youth-led programming, and adapting projects to diverse cultural settings.
Additionally, my experience encompasses project design, workshop facilitation, conference hosting, and product launches. I have facilitated team-building sessions for the Reproductive Health Network and served as Master of Ceremonies at six of their scientific conferences. Notably, I played a pivotal role in launching the Africa chapter of the Idea Initiative in collaboration with Planned Parenthood Federation in June 2022.
