Program Manager

Summary

Having attended and worked at private and public institutions, I have come to understand the importance of diversity in all aspects of education and research. I sincerely value the holistic education. To supplement my B.A. in Sociology and to better prepare myself for a career in higher education, I completed an M.S. in Counseling, Option in Student Development in Higher Education. I've had the pleasure of managing multiple undergraduate research programs as well as an undergraduate fellowship grant. This also allowed me to gain invaluable experience managing budgets, working with faculty and meeting the needs of a large, diverse undergraduate student populations. Furthermore, data collection and analysis have lent themselves to effective grant management, evaluation and executive presentation.

Expectations

I would like a work environment with a clear pathway to promotion, standardized benchmarking and regular career check-ins. Autonomy is important and I would prefer to have structured interactions with my manager. I expect to collaborate with colleagues regular as I believe exchanging ideas is the best way to move higher education forward.
