Product development engineer

Summary

I am fascinated with addressing common needs with new inventions . Or, alternatively come up with better products that are a more desirable solution than what is currently on the market. I have taken a product through the prototype stage, and the patent process, and then licensed the product to a fortune 500 company. It was popular when introduced to the retail market. There were more orders than the company could fill. But the licensing company made some changes to the product to lower the cost (and quality) and the product eventually failed.

Expectations

I am looking for fulfilling work with a company that appreciates and demands quality of work more than speed of work. I prefer but do not require a work environment that has a code for professional language (minimal cussing and swearing) and where all people are respected and treated courteously.
