I am a dynamic professional with a strong background in Computer Science and Engineering, graduating with honors from the University of California, Merced in 2023. My coursework covered a broad spectrum, including Data Structures, Artificial Intelligence, Algorithm Design, and Human-Centered Research and Design. Seeking to enhance my skills in user experience, I completed the UX Academy Foundations program at DesignLab in 2021.

My professional journey began as the Director at HackMerced from March 2021 to March 2022. Leading a team of 20+, I pioneered a hackathon that attracted 500+ attendees, generating over $15k in revenue. Responsible for logistics, venue selection, marketing, and sponsorship outreach, I secured funding from 17 sponsors, ensuring a successful event.

As the Design Lead at the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) from October 2020 to May 2021, I motivated 100+ ACM members to explore creativity in design through workshops using Figma, Adobe XD, and Canva. Simultaneously, I kept the community abreast of design trends.

During my tenure as a Web Developer at CITRIS and the Banatao Institute from January to July 2020, I implemented the UC Merced CITRIS website and collaborated with engineering departments to develop event websites during the transition to remote work.

One notable achievement was managing the Floodcast Mobile App project, where I served as Project Manager. This initiative, aimed at enhancing community resilience to flooding, involved successful pitches to stakeholders and partners like the Merced County Food Bank.

In the role of a UI Engineer for Stanford Labs Smart UI Cable Management project, I redesigned a cable management web application, streamlining processes for SLACs engineers and admins.

As a Frontend Developer for the HackMerced Hub, I constructed prototypes and wireframes, implementing responsive designs that reduced bounce rates on smaller devices by 20%.
