Product Designer
Summary
Over the years, Ive led the design of multiple high-impact digital products, consistently driving measurable improvements in both user experience and business outcomes. My work spans zero-to-one product launches, system redesigns, and workflow optimisations, often within complex operational or technical environments.
A major focus of mine has been designing for scalability and efficiency. Ive conceptualised and shipped solutions that significantly reduced repetitive effort for internal teams, improved operational workflows, and enhanced service consistency across multiple locations. In one such project, I helped create a system that reduced trainer fatigue, improved attendance, and brought uniformity to an experience that was previously highly variable. This not only improved user satisfaction but also streamlined team handovers and reduced onboarding efforts when staff shifted locations.
Ive also worked on feedback and performance improvement systems for end-users. By embedding intelligent touchpoints into their daily workflows, I was able to help users retain feedback more effectively, leading to visible improvements in engagement and skill progression. These systems didnt just enhance the user journey they also empowered service providers to track impact and personalise guidance at scale.
What sets my work apart is a relentless focus on execution within constraints. I believe in pushing work to market quickly with a strong MVP, learning from real-world usage, and iterating fast. Whether its testing ideas via emulator mockups, validating control systems, or adapting content for screen readability under real lighting conditions I get my hands dirty. Ive proactively driven research when needed, identified low-effort, high-impact ideas, and ensured my work integrates seamlessly with existing tools or routines, minimising adoption friction.
Throughout, Ive remained grounded in cross-functional collaboration co-creating with PMs, researchers, engineers, and frontline stakeholders. Ive also explored the use of AI tools to accelerate prototyping and streamline communication with developers, and am currently contributing to the design of AI-powered tools that improve decision-making for business teams.
Expectations
In my next role, Im looking for an environment where thoughtful execution and speed can coexist. Over the past few years, Ive thrived in spaces that require balancing product goals with user needs whether that meant launching MVPs under tight timelines or rethinking systems from the ground up for scale and efficiency. Ive learned to adapt quickly, work within constraints, and prioritise progress over perfection values that I carry forward.
That said, what I now seek is a team and culture where design is seen as a core lever for driving impact, not just polish. I want to be in a place where cross-functional collaboration is fluid, and where feedback flows freely from peers, users, and the business. Ive found the most meaningful design decisions often come from deep conversations with stakeholders and co-creating with the people closest to the problem. I want to continue building in that spirit.
Im also keen to push the boundaries of how AI can support design and product decisions. In my current work, Ive explored the use of generative AI tools for prototyping and am part of a team designing AI-driven tools to empower business teams. Id love to take that exploration further, especially in environments where AI and human-centred design can come together meaningfully.
Ultimately, Im looking to grow as a designer not just in craft, but in influence. I want to work on problems that are real, complex, and layered and contribute to a product and mission that genuinely makes a difference.
