Summary

As a Creative Director and Designer with a 25-year track record delivering world class experiences, I have developed a unique blend of leadership, hands-on, and project management skills that make me a valuable addition on any design team.

During my time at Microsoft, I led design for products including Xbox, Windows, HoloLens, SharePoint, Microsoft Stream enterprise video, and Windows Photos. I contributed to every aspect of the design process, from shaping long-term product strategy, to directing teams during implementation, and pushing pixels. I participated in the incubation and evolution of Microsofts Fluent Design System and, as Design Operations Manager, I spearheaded the organizations transition to Figma.

As Visual Design Lead at Amazon, I redesigned the Kindle Fire by creating a completely custom UI layer atop Android. Before product design, I crafted groundbreaking advertising campaigns for brands such as T-Mobile, Volvo, Intel, Xbox, Microsoft, Amazon, History Channel, and PBS.

As I look toward the next phase in my career, three areas are often importance to me:

Balance: As a husband, father of two, and martial arts practitioner, balance between family life, work, and personal passions is of utmost importance to me. Im looking for a company that understands the importance of striking a balance between working hard and recharging.
