Summary

I am career long software consultant with 17 years of experience.
In this capacity I have consulted for many clients, seeking to build custom software solutions, with a focus on user interaction and quality of life. I have worked closely with clients, business analysts, and other developers to provide the best possible solutions for their domain.
I have worked on all aspects of software development from the user interface layer, down to the database interaction backend.
I have worked in many domains from software to collect sample data on a Flow Cytometer as well as analyze the data collected to software to track dog agility competition certificates. I have extensive experience with Java, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript and their myriad respective frameworks, as well as other object-oriented programming languages. I have worked for my entire career in test driven, Agile environments.
I believe software is inherently a team driven, highly collaborative process, and strive to deliver the most usable experience for the end user as possible.

Expectations

I am looking to solve interesting problems and collaborate with people who are open to collaboration.
I hope to work in an Agile environment, with people who are solution focused. Industry, domain and technology are not as important to me as the sense of innovation and collaboration, ultimately I like to learn about new domains and their nuances.
