Summary

With a PhD in bioinformatics and 25 years building software for pharma and biotech, I bridge the gap most
engineering teams cannot close: I understand the science, the data, and the codebase. Scientists spend too
much time finding and cleaning data instead of using it I have spent my career building the software that
fixes that.

I build production systems applying Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and Continuous Delivery as
daily practice. I am a TDD practitioner and coach, and I have strong opinions on AI tooling I have used
Cursor AI since early access and GitHub Copilot since launch, not as autocomplete but as a genuine workflow
shift. I thrive in fast-moving environments where ownership is expected and waiting for orders is not an option.
In team discussions I follow the best argument, regardless of whether it comes from a junior or a senior
that is how teams actually move forward.

Fluent across functional, object-oriented, compiled, and dynamic paradigms in an AI-augmented workflow,
language semantics become secondary to architectural thinking and code literacy.

Expectations

Ideally, I would like to go to work in a skunkworks setting with interesting people creating meaningful solutions.
