Summary

As a Principal Software Engineer, I drive technical strategy and architecture for digital transformations. My focus has shifted from stabilizing legacy ecosystems to architecting modern, composable web solutions. Currently, I am building the foundation for the agency's next generation of delivery while leveraging my background in decoupled architectures to bridge complex backends with high-performance frontends.

Architected a flexible Drupal backend for a major client's decoupled flagship property. Designed a modular system that served as the architectural blueprint for the clients entire US site-building platform.

Expanded technical scope beyond the CMS to integrate the Gatsby data layer, utilizing React and TypeScript to optimize data ingestion, build performance, and type safety.

Assumed technical leadership of the client's site-building platform team to shepherd the migration of remaining legacy sites to it, while continuing to build upon and grow the platform capabilities. Stabilized the codebase by refactoring technical debt and enforcing rigorous CI/CD standards across each site's Pantheon.io infrastructure.

Proactively obtained the Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer credential to fulfill critical requirements for the agency's Google Cloud Partner status, directly enabling new business opportunities for the agency.

Currently architecting a Contentful and Next.js accelerator, developing a standardized, high-performance starter kit to enforce best practices and streamline delivery for future composable web projects for the agency.
