Principal Software Engineer

Summary

Over 14 years of full stack web development experience, including 7 years of experience building immersive experiences, from web based 3D configurators and visualizers, to metaverse platforms, to immersive sites. This experience includes full stack development for low-code/no-code tools to allow customers to create 3D experiences. Much of my work experience over the last 7 years is with the Babylon 3D engine and I am a contributor to that project. I also have work experience in creating a platform for industrial 3D/AR product configurators using Unity as well as immersive site development in Three.js. Further, I have experience with Unreal and Godot engines on personal projects. Experience with multiple front end stacks including vanilla web components, React, Angular, and Next.JS. On the backend, I have extensive experience with Node.js, C#, and Python/Django and deploying on AWS infrastructure using terraform and AWS CDK.
Beyond my full stack experience, I have a solid understanding of AI and ML engineering, including using AI APIs such as OpenAI, and LangChain/LangGraph, implementing Retrieval Augmented generation to enhance LLM responses with proprietary data, building and training shallow and deep learning models, and fine tuning models to improve performance on new tasks.
