Pharmaceutical data scientist

Summary

After working as a registered pharmacist in New Zealand for several years in community and hospital pharmacies, I went down the path of doing postgraduate research studies (MPhil and PhD) in Australia. My PhD research focused on drug discovery and design by using computational and medicinal chemistry methods. The research outcome has led to a first-author journal publication in 2022. As the pandemic hit globally since 2019-2020, my initial plans were disrupted and this led to more time devoted to my other interests in data analytics and data science, which meant I've completed an online professional data science course during this time, and also the creation of a portfolio website ( Contact which currently holds a series of data analytics and machine learning projects on a variety of pharmaceutical and healthcare data.

Expectations

I'm looking for a pharmaceutical data scientist role that is involved in the drug discovery, design or development pipeline. Particularly, I'm interested in teams that work collaboratively with open communications and positive vibes.
