Summary

I have thirteen years of experience as an educator, teaching math to grades 4, 5, and 7, and developing interventions for grades 6-8. I also spent three years as a Middle School Math and Science Teaching and Learning Facilitator, providing professional development and coaching services to all middle school math and science teachers within the district.

At Great Minds, PBC, I started as a Curriculum Developer in July 2018, creating content for grades 5-7 Eureka Math Squared and later working on a project to align it with Florida standards. I later worked as a grade 7 virtual teacher, collaborating on student-facing video content. Since February 2022, I've been a PD Implementation Specialist, facilitating professional development and coaching for K-9 educators. I've also served on the Access and Equity team, enhancing my understanding of critical issues involving diversity, equity, and inclusion.

In January 2024, I became a middle school math Interventionist, using data to tailor student support. Additionally, my wife and I opened a doggie daycare, The Dog Stop, in early 2022, offering affordable and trustworthy services to our community.

Expectations

I am looking for a role where I can leverage my expertise in curriculum development, professional development, and educational coaching. I am particularly interested in positions that involve creating and refining educational content, facilitating professional growth for educators, and ensuring equitable access to high-quality education for all students. Additionally, I seek opportunities to work collaboratively with a dynamic team, contribute to impactful projects, and continue my professional growth in the field of education.
