Neuroscience Research Fellow
I have pursued PhD in Clinical Neurology at the University of Nottingham, Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham. Prior to this, I have completed Masters in Translational Neuroimaging at the University of Nottingham. I have enormous experience in MRI computational image analysis in neurodegeneration and its correlation with disease outcomes, statistical modelling as well as database management, along with a track record of published work.
As part of my research experience, I have efficiently performed MR image processing and analysis to evaluate neurodegeneration on more than 2000 MRI scans of various sequences for the WIRMS Clinical Trial at Nottingham University Hospitals, QMC. This encompassed the evaluation of treatment and interpretation of research findings to adjudicate disease outcome status among numerous participants, by applying developed computational tools and methods to acquired images. I have also proficiently performed the statistical analysis for the clinical trial and analyzed all phases of the related data cycle.
I have proficiently managed and analysed large amounts of complex, real-world, digital health records to unveil probable regions of neurodegeneration correlated with disease characteristics. I have efficiently developed group-based statistical models to reveal associations between altered brain morphology and disease outcomes. I have efficiently worked towards the development of a potential biomarker for neurodegeneration based on patterns of regional brain atrophy. I have efficiently assessed and enhanced computational approaches for the measurement of alterations in brain attributes.
I have knowledge and experience of working with Linux-based systems, Python and Matlab.
The research projects that I have efficiently worked on have helped me acquire expertise in neuroimaging and analytical techniques for determining longitudinal and cross-sectional associations of disease activity with clinical andneuroimaging-derived biomarkers. I have effectively planned and organized research activities while meeting deadlines and quality standards and have been involved in taking a lead role in writing papers for publication, presentation of results at local, national and international conferences as well as preparation of progress reports for funders, principal investigator and a multi-disciplinary team of researchers.
I am open to jobs such as:
I am at a stage in my career where I have obtained some professional experience along with academic research experience. Now I need a platform to prove my skills. I strongly believe that once I get an opportunity with new challenges and new motivations, my skills will be greatly enhanced and this will be mutually beneficial for the organization as well as for me.
