Summary

With a 14-year career in IT, my expertise encompasses network management, security, and unified communications. The first five years of my IT career were spent in networking. I managed firewalls, routers, and switches to ensure network security and connectivity. I was responsible for troubleshooting network issues and implementing redundancy solutions to enhance network stability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, I contributed to network-related projects and initiatives. My career transitioned into unified communications after spending the initial five years in networking. Here, I concentrated on video teleconferencing and Cisco Video Communication Servers. My responsibilities included configuring and managing dial plans, neighbor relationships, and network permissions to facilitate successful video teleconferences. I integrated video bridges, primarily using Acano, which later transitioned to the Cisco Meeting Server. I also played a crucial role in transitioning from H.323 to SIP, addressing customers' security requirements and expanding VTC utilization in challenging areas.

I have spent the past five years leading a team of IT professionals in unified communications. In this role, I conduct team meetings, manage projects, provide training, and evaluate team performance. My leadership has fostered a culture of learning and growth, with a strong focus on accountability. I've also introduced processes to proactively address security measures, ensuring the integrity of our communications systems. Notable achievements include successfully transitioning from H.323 to SIP, expanding VTC utilization, and implementing new technologies.
