Modern CTO

Summary

Back in Accenture, I build a department of 170 DevOps specialists. When I got a bit bored there, I joined EIS Ltd. to help them change the company but it ended with 10% staff cut in January, 2023. After this experience, it's clear to me that my next challenge is at C-level.

Expectations

I bring experience from different industries. Some disagree, but I believe in software engineering, the industry matters less. All software engineering companies are experiencing similar issues.
For several years I've been running very successful business-within-business for 150+ people in one of the biggest IT consultancy enterprises.
My key aspiration is to help a modern company with scaling and speed - technically and organizationally. That's my passion and area of interest. You can get to know a lot about me from my articles on LinkedIn. This will be also the key topic of my research for the Ph.D. that I'm starting just now. In small Latvia, some people call me "the father of Latvia DevOps".
