Summary

Front end software engineer with 2.5 years in the tech industry. My background and degrees were earned in the arts, and I professionally developed an art practice for 9 years, including 4 years in the tattoo and graphic design industry. I have a long abiding interest in UI/UX with some (1 year) recent experience, and Im also open to work as a UI/UX Developer. At my previous job, I regularly turned in work (using CI/CD github/gitlab pipeline) ahead of schedule and requested more, and I put a high priority on communication(which I learned in an Agile Scrum setting). Id love a position where Im able to flex my creative muscles while also spending a fair amount of time working my brain coding. My primary languages are JavaScript and TypeScript, and I typically work in React. I have limited experience in React Native, Ruby on Rails, Golang, and Python. I am also practiced with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator. I enjoy both group and singular work, but fully believe in pairing on problems that need it.

Expectations

Im looking for a friendly and collaborative atmosphere, preferably one sticking to Scrum methodology. Healthcare, 3-4 weeks PTO/year, and 401K benefits are important to me. I want a job that will allow and help me to grow and learn even more, with career growth as an option preferably. I want a mission I can believe in, and a company that is human-centric. Itd be amazing if the company has strong diversity as well.
