Summary

To shortly introduce myself, I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical from the Curtin University of Australia (Second class upper 2:1).
At my first internship in the Engineering and Maintenance Department at SriLankan Airlines, I gained experience in maintenance of mechanical systems as well as experience in teamwork, and time management. During my second internship at Bentley CAE Research Unit, I was able to work on industrial projects where I proposed novel solutions, designed, and analyzed mechanical systems individually and with a small dynamic team. Further, I was employed as a research associate at Bentley CAE Research Unit where I carried on R&D work that were mainly focused on Finite Element Analysis. My latest position was at an aerospace startup (team of 3) where I worked both as a co-founder and a lead engineer in designing conceptual ideas for spacecraft systems and also in customer discovery, getting familiar with the startup environment.
