Summary

I have worked in manufacturing, supply chain, business analysis, operations, process improvement and consulting roles.

When working for a small manufacturing company in India, I identified areas for improvement in their process flows for a smooth functioning and efficient supply chain. This experience let me wear many hats like design, production, quality, inventory, logistics, safety, etc.

During my masters in Industrial Engineering in US, I did two internships - the first one as a business analyst where my goal was to integrate all the business processes for more visibility, less manual handling and optimal documentation for which I had to talk to employees at all different levels right from the President of the company to the employees working on the shop floor to understand the workings of the company from their perspectives.
The second internship was with Volvo and this was mainly focused on telling a story through data- involved creating and refining data visualization dashboards for the entire NA delivery, transportation and service center teams and also defining KPIs for internal use.

Once I completed my masters I began working as a Senior Analyst in a Procurement firm where I led the RFP department and was involved in each of the stages right from deciding if it is worth participating in an RFP and dedicating resources to which of our preferred suppliers should we approach and how we negotiate with them and was also involved in the quantitative and qualitative analysis and documentation and tracking. I also developed an official RFP process, hired analysts for the team and trained them.

Currently I am working at BCG as an associate, been here about 9 months now where I have worked on projects in various industries like climate & sustainability, steel industry, etc.
