Mainframe Developer

Summary

I am an experienced IT/project management and governance professional, with a proven track record across global programmes.
I have worked on a variety of roles including mainframe analyst/programmer; application support; data migration; programme planner; project manager; and governance professional within the state education sector.

I am keen to return to a mainframe application support/developer position working within the IBM / TSO / JCL / COBOL / CICS / VSAM / DB2 / SQL environment and learning new technologies. I am ready to complete refresher training as part of an initial apprentice/junior position and will bring a wealth of previous experience and skills.

Expectations

I am looking for an opportunity to retrain in key mainframe environment technologies whilst bringing my previous IT experience and skills to the role. Initially, I would expect to likely work in an application support role. As my experience increases, especially within the company's project delivery framework / lifecycle, I would work on increasingly complex application changes (change requests) and smaller project developments. This would be in an environment with strong teamwork; collaboration; stakeholder engagement; and good governance.
