Education
As a Master's student at the University of Minnesota, I have been focusing on the intriguing domain of Natural Language Processing, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise. In addition, I honed my skills in developing secure and scalable deep-learning methods for various tasks, including short video streaming and language generation. I have also been an active researcher in the field of Medical Education and have co-authored manuscripts currently under publisher review in renowned medical journals.
Experiences
Last summer, I worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Boston Scientific, developing an intelligent search engine using deep learning models. Additionally, I bring over three years of software leadership experience working at BIOKYOWA INC., where I built a scalable software infrastructure from the ground up. These experiences have helped me develop teamwork, adaptability, and time management skills, preparing me to tackle challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Leadership
I wanted to give back to the community, so I took on an executive role in the Graduate Student Body. As an executive member, I represent the interests of graduate students on various university committees, such as the Graduate Student Advisory Board, the Student Health Advisory Committee. In addition, I am part of a dedicated advocacy team that speaks out on behalf of our fellow graduate students. Through our efforts, we have raised awareness of the unique challenges that graduate students face and advocated for policies that support their success.
I am set to graduate in May and am excited to take on new challenges and contribute my skills to innovative projects in deep learning.
Expectations
I expect to work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth. I would expect to work on innovative and challenging projects where that push me outside of my comfort zone. At the same time, I expect to have clear expectation and goals to ensure everyone is working towards the same objectives.
